Concept
We Are All Cities: Electricities [projections] forms a series of ephemeral poetic projections, a time-based text piece, conceived to be projected in real site (public space: building or water) but also to critically engaged with the audience in cognitive level. It aims to create an aesthetic situation made of language, light, site texture and repetition. It reveals a poetic space; repetitive but also critical. Humans are Cities, organisms and metaphors with past, present and future. We are all cities, thousands of kilowatts under constant becoming, sites where the fleshy and the intellectual meet, layered bodies, places, systems and stratified experiences, memories, failures, stupidity, potential and hope. The work is part of the We Are All Cities series (2018-today), presented either as participatory performances, public video installations/projections or site-interventions.
