Site Postscripts

(series: text-based / installation)

Concept

Site Postscripts is a text-based work, an ongoing in situ performative gesture of the artist which takes the form of a visual/spatial diary of his sites/thoughts/coordinates. The work has been part of his interest in inserting poetry within physical locations (city, sea) through various forms. He walks into the city, encountering sites and micro-topographies by digitally adding personal poetic phrases; having image, word and geo-coordinates as foundational elements for a personal vocabulary. Considering the final image as an geolocated visual poem, what he calls a ‘site-postscript’, the work Site Postscripts forms a series of instant framings of ambiances, materials and sites that become tangible extensions of written thought.

* Note I: the work will be available as an augmented reality poetic intervention (forthcoming / in progress)

* Note II: the artist shares his activity via Instagram

Remember

Imagine

Mirror ephemera

Past self

A prayer big as cloud

It will make sense

Time can be a really strange substance

EtheReal

For all our futures

Answer

Show me a sign, a light, a face

Full moon stories

How many fears did we hide here

Tonight antennas are words

Ideologized blocks. A. Sex

Highways are empty but full of dreams

All those moments we were raindrops

(Never) too late

Angel within

Where poets hide their dreams

In the end it took our shape

I know you know

Distance can be really sharp

in progress
